Editorial Policy

1. Editorial Independence

Our statistical data and analysis are produced independently. We have affiliate partnerships and display advertising, but these relationships have no influence on the data we present, how we calculate statistics, or the conclusions drawn from them. Our color-coded ratings are determined purely by statistical thresholds, not commercial considerations.

2. How Predictions Are Generated

BettingStats.org predictions are algorithmic, based entirely on historical match data. They are not subjective opinions or tipster picks. The process:

1. Match data is collected via the Betformatics data engine for both teams.
2. Relevant statistics (goals, corners, cards, etc.) are aggregated across the current season.
3. Percentages are calculated for each betting market (e.g., how often Over 2.5 Goals has occurred).
4. Results are displayed with color coding to indicate statistical strength.

3. Human Oversight

While our data pipeline is automated, our team reviews data quality regularly. This includes monitoring for anomalies (e.g., missing matches, incorrect scores), verifying that update schedules are maintained, and checking that statistical calculations produce sensible results. Major data issues are flagged and corrected promptly.

4. Blog and Written Content

Blog posts and editorial content are written by named individuals from our team. Every article includes an author byline linked to the author's expert profile. Written content is fact-checked against our primary data before publication. Match previews and analysis reference specific statistics available on the platform.

If we identify or are notified of an error in our data, written content, or statistical calculations, we will correct it as quickly as possible. 7. AI Usage Disclosure

We may use AI tools to assist with content drafting, code development, and data processing. However, all published content is reviewed and approved by our editorial team. AI-generated content is fact-checked against our data sources before publication. Statistical calculations and data collection are performed by our own systems, not by generative AI.
